    Since 1996, on behalf of the legal profession, the Wisconsin Law Foundation has distributed more than $270,300 in grants to support law-related education and public service programs.

    Fiscal year 2005 funding of $30,000 distributed to: Law-related Education (including Judicial Teachers' Institute, Bill of Rights Teachers Manual, and Dialogues on Democracy annual civics institute) - $8,650 • Director of State Courts/Supreme Court (major funding for a new juror orientation video for use in all 72 counties) - $13,350 • Centro Legal, Milwaukee (printing information brochures for service project) - $2,000 • Dane County Bar Association Delivery of Legal Services Committee (cost of video/DVD project for pro se litigants) - $2,000 • Benedict Center (Milwaukee Sentencing Advocacy Program marketing and training) - $2,000 • Marquette University (Milwaukee Dispute Resolution Education study) - $1,000 • Advocates and Benefits Counseling for Health (Madison legal education project) - $1,000.

    Fiscal year 2004 funding of $23,500 distributed to: Law-related Education (including We the People Summer Institute for teachers, High School Mock Trial Tournament, a Spanish and Hmong translation of On Being 18, and Judicial Teachers' Institute) - $20,500 • Economic Justice Institute Consumer Law Litigation Clinic (publication costs of informational booklet to educate consumers on their legal rights) - $750 • Wisconsin Coalition Against Sexual Assault (printing costs of informational materials for sexual assault service providers) - $750 • Association for the Rights of Citizens with Handicaps (development of informational brochures) - $500 • Clark County Teen Court (educational supplies) - $500 • La Crosse County Peer Court (educational supplies) - $250 • U.W. Legal Information Center (consumer education supplies) - $250.

    Fiscal year 2003 funding of $46,500 distributed to: Law-related Education (including We the People competitions, High School Mock Trial Tournament, Judicial Teachers' Institute, and educational publications) - $31,000 • Supreme Court Historical Video (for public display) - $10,000 • Wisconsin Eye Project (C-Span) - $5,000 • International Law Journal (symposium on International Criminal Court) - $500.

    Fiscal year 2002 funding of $35,000 distributed to: Law-related Education (including We the People competitions, High School Mock Trial Tournament, and educational publications) - $35,000.

    Fiscal year 2001 funding of $31,000 distributed to: Law-related Education (including We the People competitions, High School Mock Trial Tournament, and educational publications) - $20,000 • Dane County Bar Juvenile Justice (video) - $5,000 • Barron County Task Force - $3,000 • Community Adolescent Programs - $3,000.
